
Christine Allen
MS, PLMHP
Christine Allen, MS, PLMHP has joined Remedy as a part time provisionally licensed mental health practitioner.
Christine graduated from Bellevue University with her Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Counseling from Peru State College. She is a former Domestic Assault/Sexual Assault Victim Advocate and a former probation officer with the State of Nebraska. She currently is the program manager for the Court Referral Community Service program at United Way of the Midlands.
Christine completed her internships at Stephen Center and the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. Her experience includes working with individuals with co-occurring disorders and serious mental illnesses. She was most recently a therapist at Omaha Correctional Center, where she worked with male offenders. Christine is also a grief facilitator with The Collective for Hope, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Christine enjoys working with others to help them overcome adversity and to help them learn how to help themselves. She utilizes cognitive behavioral health therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. She will work with teens and adults.
