Nazira Usmanova

APRN-NP, PNP, AGNP

Nazira Usmanova is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry; diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. She comes with nearly 14 years of nursing experience in primary care, critical care, and case management. She has extensive knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities requiring Individualized Support Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP). Much of her experience has been in pediatrics. However, she also has many years of experience working with adolescents and adults. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups.

 

Aside from evaluating and treating general neurological conditions, she specialized in Neurodevelopmental/Neurogenetic conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Motor/Vocal Tics, etc. and was deemed as vital member of Boys Town’s Down Syndrome multidisciplinary clinic. Her latest employment includes 4 years of Neurosciences experience at Boys Town National Research Hospital.

 

Nazira is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) certified clinician through IBCCES. Nazira Usmanova received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She further pursued her education through University of Nebraska Medical Center and successfully completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Additionally, she completed her Post-Master’s in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Heath NP sub-specialties gaining additional clinical experience.

 

“My main focus is on the evaluation and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Tourette’s/Tics, as well as treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic intervention for adult clients ages 3-60 years of age. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment."
