-
You visit Remedy Health for the first three rounds of treatment and will learn how to self-administer the treatment.
-
After the initial appointments, you can continue treatment at home with occasional appointments with us.
-
Within three or four months of allergy treatment, you should begin to feel relief of symptoms. Please continue on the allergy treatment plan.

Who can be tested?

Adults and children over the age of two can be tested for allergies. This is especially helpful for patients who suffer with asthma, allergic pneumonia, conjunctivitis (pink eye), undiagnosed cough, dermatitis (skin irritation), insect allergy, rhinitis, sinusitis, urticaria (hives) and angioedema (similar to hives, but beneath the skin).

Are the allergy test and treatment covered by insurance?

Yes, most insurance plans cover the allergy test and treatment. Your insurance benefits will be verified prior to testing.
How long does the allergy test take?

The test takes approximately 30 minutes to administer and 15 minutes to register the results – so you don’t have to wait long to learn the possible cause of your allergies.

Which allergens will I be tested for?

You will be tested for the most frequent geographically-specific seasonal and perennial allergens in your area. These allergens include: dust mites, proteins from pet hair and dander, trees, grass, and weed pollens, molds and cockroach allergens. You will not be tested or treated for food or stinging insect-related allergies.
