Dr. Kyleen Schmoker is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Springfield, Nebraska, and began her career in healthcare at age 19 as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

In 2016, Kyleen graduated from Nebraska Methodist College with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She spent the next four years working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Nebraska Medicine. Her time in critical care strengthened her clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills while also shaping the way she approaches healthcare today. Caring for critically ill patients gave her a strong appreciation for prevention and the importance of addressing health concerns before they progress.

In 2021, Kyleen earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Nebraska Methodist College and became nationally board certified in family practice through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

As a provider, Kyleen believes patients deserve to feel heard. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns, and look beyond individual symptoms to identify potential root causes of how they are feeling. She enjoys taking a comprehensive look at lab work, identifying areas that can be optimized, and creating individualized treatment plans that help patients improve their health and feel their best.

Kyleen has a particular passion for hormone health and enjoys helping patients better understand their bodies and the role hormones can play in their overall well-being. Her goal is to work alongside each patient to optimize their health, address their concerns, and help them feel like the best version of themselves.

Outside of work, Kyleen enjoys spending time with her husband and four sons. Much of her free time is spent cheering on her boys at their sporting events, camping with her family, and staying active by playing volleyball. She also values her faith and enjoys being involved in her church and church community.
